2. Install the Universal Bracket
Locate the electrical box on the ceiling and secure the universal mounting bracket directly to it. Use the included screws or bolts to fasten it tightly. Ensure the bracket is level by using a level tool.
3. Attach the Slope Adapter (Optional)
If your ceiling has a steep slope (greater than 10 degrees), you'll need to use a slope adapter. Install the adapter between the mounting bracket and the fan by following the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Install the Ceiling Fan
Carefully lift the ceiling fan and align the mounting holes with the adapter or mounting bracket. Thread the wires through the hole in the canopy and connect them to the appropriate wire nuts using electrical tape. Finally, secure the fan to the mounting bracket using the provided screws or bolts.
5. Connect the Electrical Wires
Inside the canopy, connect the black wire from the fan to the black wire from the electrical box. Similarly, connect the white wires and the ground wires (green or bare copper) from both sides. Ensure all connections are secure using wire nuts and electrical tape.
6. Install the Blades and Canopy
Attach the fan blades to the motor, following the manufacturer's instructions. Then, mount the canopy over the fan motor, concealing the electrical connections. Tighten the screws or bolts securely.
7. Test the Fan
Turn on the power to the fan and test its operation. Ensure it spins smoothly and is properly balanced. If you notice any vibrations or wobbling, adjust the fan blades as per the manufacturer's instructions.
